Gwen's Pantry

The Ebony Collective CDC collects pantry items and cleaning supplies to assist black families in their households. We’ve given out coats, diapers, laundry detergent and more throughout the pandemic and after. Gwen's Pantry is our crisis/ emergency preparedness strategy. During the pandemic we were able to support over 350+ households within Multnomah County and the East region. Now the pantry is culturally specific and open to folks who live in the following counties: Multnomah, Clackamas and Washington.

This pantry is always open on a request basis if we have something to give to the community. The purpose of Gwen's pantry is to provide tools, resources and products to the folks that wouldn't typically be served or supported when they are in need.

Economic Development resources and services are everywhere. However, there isn’t always a clear path to clearing debt or starting an e-commerce business in Oregon. We help black families build capacity towards their wealth goals by providing information on how to start a business, applying for jobs and/or become debt free.
